Feature Ideas

Critical feature for us would be to have the possibility to encode event on several days: e.g. tournament, european championship, world championships,… These could/shall be on several days. We will definitely need that. So instead of duration in hours/minutes, it would be better to put a start date/time, and end date/time, or add the possibility to set up a duration in days for “full day” event. This feature has to be reflected correctly in the subscribed calendar of course…

we expect our players to arrive 60 or 75 min before games, depending on league or tourney and where we are playing. if we could add this in other than in notes it would be great.

I have team logo uploaded but it doesn’t show up anywhere on the app. It use to. If I delete the logo, it will show up with just team initials. I change the logo and it will show in the team details but just a white box everywhere else.

We usually have more than 4 forward lines, more than 3 defense pairings, and more than 2 goalies. Having an option to add more lines for practice would really help out.

People sign up weeks/months in advance for a game, but then the day of the game we get a lot of drop outs. It would be nice to be able to send a communication to all current attendees (via text, email, and push notification) without having to individually add the people to a comms by the communication mode. For example, I had to send a text, but try to add each person individually to see if they had a phone number, then do the same for email, then whoever was leftover do a push. It would be awesome to have an "Send Reminder" option that allows you to select "Attendees Only", "Waitlist Only", "Both" (Kind of like you have for nudges for no responses). Then be able to select which mode or multiple: Text, Email, both, and or push notification.

When adding multiple events to the schedule, I added a new opponent, the site got stuck in a loop not allowing me to finish adding the event, resulting in all the events I had added were not saved and now I have to start over. This glitch needs to be fixed.

When a new season drops, manually going to each game and selecting "in" is a bit cumbersome. I wish I could have my default attendance be "in" then I could go to the two or three games I'll miss (out of the 24 or so in our season), and switch them to "out." Either that, or have a select all, that i can then deselect from. Way faster and more user friendly.

For past teams that are now defunct or tournament teams I still see them in my seasons/switch team view even though they are inactive. I don’t want to leave the team entirely so I can still have the chat and record history but I’d love a way to remove them from these active selection screens to clear up the visuals. An option to mark a team or seasons as inactive per player (so player setting but maybe a team setting too would work) would be great!

Allows uploading of attachments to chatter

Why can we we not add to people to our Chatter. Example, we have an ongoing chatter group this year but I cannot add new people to the thread.

How about divide the Teams into Light and Dark but do not create the Lines !!

Hi BenchApp team, Could you please add the option to display a fourth defensive pairing in hockey lineups? Our team sometimes dresses eight defencemen, but the lineup builder currently only provides space for three pairs. It would be helpful if managers could add or remove forward lines and defensive pairings based on the number of players attending each game. Thanks for considering this improvement!

They were showing up and was working great

If someone joins my team through the link or team code, as the registrar I need to validate the person and ensure all the proper details have been captured in their profile. This is necessary since everyone joining my team isn't a player and BenchApp adds everyone to the roster.

Allow players to have more than one position. For example, a goalie could also play forward.
