When a player checks out, we invite a spare. If the player then checks back in again and the roster maximum has not been met yet, they could potentially take a spot from another rostered player that hasn't responded. It'd be nice if there could be an option to automatically put them on the wait-list until the rest of the team responds first.

Allow a player to choose between IN, OUT and MAYBE.

Allow players to enter and maintain their emergency contact information.

Both leagues I manage are "shinny" or pick-up ice times. Both are run a bit different. One league we draw cards in the room to make new teams each week. The other, I use a randomizer online (I apply skill levels to each player, and do 1 draw for D and 1 draw for F's), and then we do a "3 week series". Since there is the whole "Edit Lines" screen, is there a way to assign a ranking to a player, and have a button that can randomize teams based on skill levels? Would be an excellent feature to build in!!

Have the option to make multiple spares lists so that you can send notifications out to different lists at different times. First list being the Regular/Preferred Spares list, 2nd being the infrequent spares list, 3rd being the anyone I know that can tie a pair of skates because we're desperate for players list! I have a lot of people on my spares list, some players are very infrequent but I still want their contact info on my roster. If I could create multiple spares lists it would allow me to set my regulars to get an email on day 1 (7 days out or so), regular spares get an email 3 days out, infrequent 2 days and panic spares list on the day of if the roster isn't full.

For Shinny and Pickup organizers, I expect many of us have all registered players listed in BenchApp as one “team” and communicate the teams / game plan to the players on game day. Can BenchApp please automate this process in the app so a “Scrimmage” option can be selected and the otganaizer can choose or randomize teams and all players are notified of the upcoming game? My current workaround is to communicate with the team on game day by broadcast message with the details that divide the players into two separate random teams identifying what team colour they are, either dark or white and who their goalie is. This is a time consuming process and it would be great if this process could be automated by the app. I think this “Scrimmage” feature would be beneficial to many teams and pickup organizers. by adding a penalty kill and PowerPlay unit option. It allows you to have more control over your line adjustments and presentation for more organized clubs. As of right now there’s a great opportunity to adjust for basic lines however, it takes extra steps to produce special teams unit.

This will allow me to download roster and see when players joined. If a players never played a game and joined a while ago then I can delete to help keep roster clean.

Allow players to have more than one position. For example, a goalie could also play forward.

When payment is accepted through the app the fees can add up fast. For our weekly pick up game of just 10 players we pay $14.70 in fees a week. When you add in the $9/month for pro that comes to $67.80 a month. There should be a way for players to pay using the numerous no-fee payment services out there like Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.

Allow the manager to assign colors to home and away jerseys, and then display those colors on the games.

Allow a team manager to customize the time that the RSVP emails and SMS are sent.
