Link to USA Hockey Reg Database to confirm USA Hockey Reg #
It would be neat to automatically pull in USA hockey registration numbers for the team. Lookup based on email or phone number / state or whatever. I think this would also save commissioners a ton of time in checking each player. Imagine they would pay a little bit for that time savings. It's only a once or twice a year deal, but annoying to do.

Add a playoff bracket!
I love this app, it’s been really cool using it for our league. It would be sweet if we could visualize the playoff bracket and update the series score for each matchup.

Fix GIF search in Chat
When searching for a gif to post in chat I find that 99%of the time I get the same opinions presented. No relation to the search term used. This is heavily broken and unusable. Maybe just allow usage of 3rd party keyboards (Giphy) to copy and paste gifs directly into chat.

Allow Half-Time Player status without sharing/linking with another player
Is there a way to change the Half-Time structure? The current structure of selecting 2 specific players to share 1 spot is not that functional for me over these years I do not always have 2 players dedicated for 1 position Sometimes both Half-Time players will play, but having one Half-Time sign "IN" will force the other Half-Time to only select "WAITLIST" even though the game roster has open spots available Of course the game roster must have open spots dedicated for Full-Time players and Half-Time players must be restricted and not allowed to register "IN" and take a Full Time player spot My suggested solution: Leave the current Half-Time structure as-is, asking who to "share" with another for Managers who like and follow a strict linked player pairing Add the option to allow Managers to set a player as Half-Time, but NOT forced to link with another Half-Time player Add the option to allow Managers to set the max # limit of Full-Time players and max # limit of Half-Time players for game rosters for the season This will let non-linked Half-Time players to sign "IN" until Half-Time roster spots reach max limit, while still leaving dedicated Full-Time roster spots open to all Full-Time players If a lot of Full-Time players cannot play and Half-Time players are available to play, yet exceed the max # limit setting for Half-Time game roster spots, then allow the Manager ability to override this pre-set limit since all Full-Time players has been accounted for (in this example, they cannot play), then the Manager can fill in with available Half-Time players Of course the existing overall max # limit of players for a game roster still holds top priority and is the master limit This flexibility is something I have always wanted in Benchapp and none more so than this past season as I have 10 Half Time players on my higher div team and 11 Half-Time players on lower div team. Actually, it is with my lower div team where I was not able to find another Half-Time player to share with one of my Half-Time players, which is why I would like to see the option to not force a link between 2 Half-Time players to designate each player as Half-Time status. I hope the above makes sense and I was able to present my thought process across. Thanks!

Allow all emojis as reactions
In this latest chat update, we’re only allowed to select from very few emojis and if we want more, we have to sign up for “no ads”??? It’s emjois for heaven’s sake; we’re not asking to remove ads or anything extravagant. Please don’t turn into a nickel and dime app, please!

Instead of listing Jersey numbers in the batting order, display the defensive positions each player is assigned for the game
printing out one paper that is Clarity for coaches and players.

The "already have an account? Login with benchapp" link crashes my phone
When I was attempting to submit a comment on another issue, I was presented with a dialog amazing for my email and name, and at the bottom of the inputs there is a link to log in with benchapp. I was already logged in with benchapp and was viewing the feedback page via the in-app browser, so I clicked the link to "login with benchapp". After clicking that link, I was brought back to my account page but nothing else happened, so I clicked the "give feedback" link again to try and get back to my reply but was unable to switch apps or close the app. Using the gesture for "back" on my phone would seemingly close the app but before it could even disappear from the screen a new screen showing my account page would appear. Swiping "back" multiple times quickly just kept bringing up more new screens with no way to close the app or switch to another application. I tried clicking logout and was successfully logged out, but then I just kept being greeted with the login screen. I restarted my phone and navigated back to "give feedback" to attempt to post my reply again, this time selecting the option from the in-app browser to "Open in Chrome". Clicking the "login with benchapp" link resulted in the same mess once again, not being able to exit the app on any way. I'm on a pixel 9 pro running Android 16 with the September 5 2025 security update. TL;DR - when trying to post feedback, trying to "login with benchapp" crashes my phone.
