Dark mode for the app.

As a team manager, our league permits players to have 0 and 00 and jersey numbers, but I cannot enter these numbers in their profile. If I enter “0”, it erases the number. “00” is not even possible to enter. I would like these numbers to be supported in BenchApp rosters.

In the last week I have gotten two random messages from accounts that aren’t even on a team with me. They seem to be random accounts with female names used with the intention of scamming people. Something needs to be done about this because there are people that are absolutely going to fall for this scam.

00 is obviously a weird number, but beer league hockey is weird. My number is #00 and the bench app won’t let me save my jersey number as #00.

the desktop website is failing to load, 3 separate backend API calls are failing to return and the homepage only shows the splash screen and the loading animations for the schedule/roster areas

Would be nice if a notification happened if a player moves from waitlist to attending

Would be useful as most people don't check email, many don't enter phone numbers, and push notification appears to be disabled by default

I just received recruiting spam through BenchApps chat. Nothing will kill this app faster than if users start getting spam messages.

I’m currently running the iOS 27 Developer Beta and noticed that emoji reactions in BenchApp chats/messages appear to be broken. When I try to react to a message, the reaction either doesn’t register or behaves inconsistently. I realize this may be related to the iOS 27 beta rather than BenchApp itself, but I wanted to report it in case other beta users are experiencing the same issue or if there are any compatibility updates needed. Emoji reactions are a simple but important feature for team communication, allowing players and managers to acknowledge messages without creating unnecessary chat traffic. It may be worth testing BenchApp on the latest iOS 27 Developer Beta builds to see if there are any changes affecting the reaction system.

If BenchApp added to spousal information , such as cell number and email to each players personal profile it would be an easy way for teams to contact a player’s spouse if anyone was to be injured .

Allow players to have more than one position. For example, a goalie could also play forward.

Notify a manager when a player was previously checked IN but then they check OUT.

When payment is accepted through the app the fees can add up fast. For our weekly pick up game of just 10 players we pay $14.70 in fees a week. When you add in the $9/month for pro that comes to $67.80 a month. There should be a way for players to pay using the numerous no-fee payment services out there like Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.

Allow a player to choose between IN, OUT and MAYBE.
