One of my teammates has a jersey number “00” and we can’t put his jersey number in the app.

We use this app for a youth team. The kids are on the roster and the parents are added as spectators. When our manager adds a game or practice to the schedule we don’t get a notification and when I try to send a “nudge” it says that the player doesn’t have a device connected. It would be nice to have the notification sent to the parents of the player because sometimes these reminders get buried in emails.

When payment is accepted through the app the fees can add up fast. For our weekly pick up game of just 10 players we pay $14.70 in fees a week. When you add in the $9/month for pro that comes to $67.80 a month. There should be a way for players to pay using the numerous no-fee payment services out there like Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.

It would be neat to automatically pull in USA hockey registration numbers for the team. Lookup based on email or phone number / state or whatever. I think this would also save commissioners a ton of time in checking each player. Imagine they would pay a little bit for that time savings. It's only a once or twice a year deal, but annoying to do.

Currently if I update lines to try to figure out who I want to play a game, all the players can see this. I want to be able to plan lines before making them viable to the team. Even before publishing lines, everyone can see the work in progress

Some people have jersey number 0 or 00, but the app won’t accept that as a number. So it appears that they have no jersey number at all.

I have the issue with a lot of people turning off notifications because they don't want everyone else's comments. Is there a way to work it like Slack/Discord where you have a channel only admins/captains/assistants/managers can post on that forces notifications and then a "squirrel channel" where people can just talk and do whatever with that you can subscribe to or not. I know bulletins are similar, but they can still get lost in the mess of other people responding. Basically I want people to be able to see every official message I've ever posted, but not have to deal with everyone's chatter. Here are my thoughts on potential functionalities: Admin channel functionalities: -Only labeled managers & assistants can post, but everyone can heart/thumbs up/react -Forces notifications -Automatically added when you join the team Squirrel channel functionalities: -Anyone can post -You can "unsubscribe"/turn off notifications for this chat -Automatically added when you join the team

Please add support for multi-day events. This would be perfect for training camps, tournaments, and team weekends. Instead of creating multiple events, it should be possible to create one event with a start date and an end date, while keeping a single RSVP.

Automatically add game fees to checked-in players on the regular roaster. The same as it is currently done for checked-in guest players.

Add a new person to a chatter group after the group has been formed.

is there a way to bring back archived chatter? Just curious as archive to me seems like something that can be restored and not just deleted.

Complaint: Season start is a mess. BA publishes instantly so my guys get multiple messages; you're added, schedule update and (the WORST) is Finances. Ideas: This needs a solution. Here are some ideas: 1 Maybe you could have a Draft / Prelim mode and a Publish mode. I could create a new (Draft) Season with Roster, Schedule and Finance, then review it, then hit Publish and my guys get one notification. 2 At a minimum, you could have a template upload for Finance (as you do for Schedule). In my case, we collect deposits upfront, then I create the season in BA. Each guy pays differently (cash, etransfer, etc.) and some pay the minimum while some pay in full. BA forces me to enter each one manually. And it immediately updates the player (one for deposit and one for balance). Its crazy. Some of these guys jump the gun and say "I already paid" and then 1 minute later they get the second transaction. Unnecessary noise. To set-up BA ... I modify my payment spreadsheet (aka a template) and then refer to it to manually enter the Deposit and Balance transactions and update the status (paid / not paid). Two transactions, thirty guys, four teams, four times a year. That's over a thousand separate data entry events. Aggravating. Maybe there are other options? Life is too short for manual data entry. But with BA Finances its a problem. We like lots of things about BA. It really helps. But season start-up is hard. I've already written about the lack of a registration process (BA waits until I have a roster and schedule). We need an effective season start-up process in BA for rosters, schedules and finances.

BUG FIX NEEDED: Custom Duties: Volunteer Snack Selection/Score Keeper Currently in our Pro League account, we create a duty for all events like snack or score keeping, however, we really want this to be all events individualized. For snacks it should be each individual event per team. One parent bringing snacks for one team only and another team parent can sign up for their respective team. Currently it has one parent auto filled for both teams for that event/game. For score keeping we select all events, however what we really need is all events individualized. Currently if a person signs up for score keeping for that game, it auto fills them for the entire season. This would be such a huge game changer. Right now we had to opt to signup genius for these tasks just to avoid this confusion for this upcoming season.

When trying to set quickscore via Firefox (desktop), I'm in dark mode and the score dropdown is in lightmode, which has light gray text on a slightly darker light gray background.

Benchapp doesn't load when opened on Firefox Android. Every page just sits in a "loading" state constantly.
